With the latest technological developments, the whole world has changed. Education also got its share of these developments in many fields. It is important to adapt students to real life in language education.
Teaching topics without imagination in the students' minds is an issue. However, implementing AR/VR into language classrooms can solve this problem as they provide a reality for students. So, Creating an AR/VR integrated teaching material has contributed a lot to us with my pair Mehmet Furkan Tekeş. Firstly, we chose the city that we thought students needed to see, then created a guideline for the students. The work includes Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, the British Museum, and as a traditional food: Fish and Chips. Thanks to QR codes in each section, students will be able to see the places or the food either with 360 videos or 3D models. While doing all these, we used Canva.
